Design Toscano Natalia Egg (Blue Egg)

This exquisitely enameled egg is skillfully rendered in the style made famous by the House of Romanov's imperial jeweler for Russian nobility. A wax sculpture is made and cast in pewter using the traditional lost wax method. Then brilliant blue enamel is added inside and out while faux jewels and a tiny pearled crown is set in place, giving this quality work of art its rich ornamentation. Tiny magnets secure the lid of this treasure.
