Design Toscano Gatchina Egg

This exquisite enameled egg is skillfully rendered in the style made famous by the House of Romanov's imperial jeweler for Russian nobility. A wax sculpture is made and cast in pewter using the traditional lost wax method and then the brilliant red enamel, faux jewels, and tiny embellishments are added.
